Quality comes first in everything we offer. When it comes to meat, we place our trust in partners like the Angushof Buchberg near Bad Kötzting. There, Stefan Freimuth raises his animals with the philosophy: “Where cattle still live like cattle and meat still tastes like meat.” That’s why his Bayerwald Wagyū also makes its way onto the plates at FUCHS as a special dish.
Just yesterday, we received a fresh delivery, which we’re sharing with the *das asam* restaurant in Aldersbach. The animal was expertly butchered by Metzgerei Fisch in Viechtach, and by the evening we were already enjoying our first fresh tartare – perfectly paired with our wintry PLATZHIRSCH from our own KANZEL BRÄU.

Our team on a company outing in Austria
A wonderful company outing with the FUCHS and KANZEL BRÄU team to Austria: Yesterday, we visited the hospitality trade fair in Salzburg to explore and test out the latest trends in our industry. And on the way back, we stopped at Gasthaus Bauer Wirt in Steinbrunn. Thank you to everyone for making this day so special! Our batteries are fully recharged – and today, Tuesday (November 14), we’re reopening at 3 PM after a short one-week break!

Even the FUCHS needs a short break: We’re closed for company holiday until Tuesday, November 14 – and then we’ll be switching the lights back on in the inn and hotel just for you. The KSK prize Schafkopf tournament and the class reunion will, of course, take place as planned. And for all participants of the Heimat Trails Trophy: On Thursday, November 9, we’ll be serving our KANZEL BRÄU at the awards ceremony in the HAIDL ATRIUM.

The brewery festival is back on August 11!
On Friday, August 11, starting at 6 PM, it’s brewery festival time once again in front of our KANZEL BRÄU! Just like last year, we’re looking forward to a relaxed, joyful, and fun evening under the open sky on Birkenweg with the Annathal brass band.
There’ll be FUCHS grill specialties, sweet treats, and this year we’ve also arranged a bouncy castle for our little guests.

fitdankbaby® on holiday at FUCHS
We’re in! During the fitdankbaby® action weeks in cooperation with the Gasthaus-Hotel***S FUCHS Mauth, new moms can enjoy a relaxing holiday while doing something great for themselves and their babies.
This special offer includes a daily course program for pregnant women as well as for moms and dads with their babies.
The first session in Mauth takes place from Saturday, September 30, to Tuesday, October 3.
How does that work?
fitdankbaby® is a fitness concept for mothers, tailored to the needs of their babies. The babies are playfully integrated into the exercises with their moms, while also creating a cheerful atmosphere in the class and motivating their moms to perform at their best. When the moms need a break, it’s the babies’ turn: with age-appropriate exercises, games, and songs—such as kicking games or lap rhymes—the babies’ development is actively supported.

About fitdankbaby®: Even after your holiday, you can continue the courses – fitdankbaby® is available at over 2,000 locations across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The State Minister awards FUCHS with ***S.
Bavarian Minister for Economic Affairs and Tourism Hubert Aiwanger and Angela Inselkammer, President of the Bavarian Hotel and Restaurant Association DEHOGA Bayern, awarded the coveted star classifications in Munich. Bernhard Fuchs was presented with the certificate for his family-run business.

We’re celebrating our 4th beer on Father’s Day!
Just in time for Father’s Day on May 18, we’re introducing our brand-new wheat beer, ROTFUCHS WEISSE—the 4th variety from our KANZEL BRÄU lineup, following Helles, Dunkles, and the EISVOGEL Pilsner.
And we want to celebrate that with you all day long on Ascension Day!
At 9:30 AM, we’ll kick things off with our regulars’ table and anyone who feels like starting early—accompanied by live music from Dietmar Gibis. Every guest gets a ROTFUCHS WEISSE for free. ROTFUCHS WEISSE will be available all day at a special introductory price of just €2.60. We’ll be serving fresh white sausages with homemade sweet mustard and pretzels for €7.50.Who knows—maybe together we can start a wonderful Father’s Day tradition.
