The history of our house on the Goldener Steig in the heart of Mauth dates back to 1890. It has been owned by the Fuchs family, the hosts, since 1937. Bernhard's mother Anita, to this day the soul of the inn, ran the business together with her husband Alfons until his sudden death in 2012. Lock? Or do something new, a little crazy and put your heart and soul into it? The family was faced with this decision at the time. For the 80th anniversary in 2017, Bernhard Fuchs and his wife Birgit decided to take over the house in the third generation and lead it into the gastronomic future.
